Teacher Certification and Endorsement Courses

Program Description:

Doral College now offers education courses that fulfill Florida state requirements for Initial Teacher Certification, Teacher Recertification, and Teacher Endorsements in the areas of Reading, ESOL, and Gifted. These courses are offered fully online during eight-week terms to meet the needs of working professionals. Coursework is comprehensive in nature and delivered by a faculty of qualified, experienced educators dedicated to helping K-12 educators accomplish their goals. Success in DC courses ultimately translates to the classroom, where learning transforms practice, enabling student success.

These courses are intended for non-education majors who have obtained a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) from the Department of Education. Applicants to the college must submit an SOE during the application process to ensure proper advising as not all classes will necessarily be required for each individual.
