This week, President Douglas Rodriguez and Chief Operating Officer Manny Diaz, Jr. attended the National Charter School Conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.

In a breakout session Tuesday titled “Character! How top schools infuse character into closing the Achievement Gap,” they discussed the College’s work with dual enrollment students in Florida and its commitment to character education to a packed room of conference attendees. DC embeds core values into 36 of its courses and believes this aspect of its curriculum is paramount in serving its students.

Doral College works with over 25 charter schools in eight different counties across the state. In May of 2019, the College awarded Associate in Arts degrees to 29 students and college credit to over 1,000 more.
