Support for Online Learning

In addition to traditional face to face courses, Doral College offers a number of innovative online and hybrid course options. Students may enroll in any mix of online, face to face, and hybrid courses to accommodate their schedules, and many courses are offered in more than one format.

The College offers all student-related services to its online learner population, including the use of three (3) separate help desk options. Students can submit tickets at any time, from any location, and will receive a response an electronic response. In most cases, tickets will be addressed within 24 hours. Longer lead times may be expected on weekends, holidays, and between semesters.

Please note: Because Doral College uses an enterprise version of Schoology, you do not need to sign up or register yourself for courses–this is all done for you.

  • Technical Support helpdesk: Use this help desk if you are having difficulties with your MyDoral account (SIS) or within your online courses. For best results, include as much information as possible in your ticket submission.
  • Student Affairs helpdesk: Use this help desk if you have questions regarding admissions or any student affairs-related matter. This includes registration, transfer of credits, degree audits, student activities, and/or transcript requests.
  • Library helpdesk: Use this help desk if you have questions regarding research or accessing DC’s library resources.


An Academic Advisor is available at each affiliated high school from which the College enrolls students. Advisors can assist with registration-related issues, and can connect students to additional support from Student Services, if necessary. Doral College offers 24/7 online tutoring through Smarthinking, a service delivering quality, on-demand feedback from experienced tutors. Students can submit writing samples for review, meet with tutors, or utilize a vast depository of resources. Links to Smarthinking appear in each live Schoology section for easy navigation.
