Doral College Marks First Master’s Graduates, Unveils Mascot, and Graduates Largest Class in College History
Doral College celebrated a historic milestone on Saturday, May 30, 2026, as it hosted its Commencement Ceremony at the Watsco Center. The event honored the accomplishments of the graduating class while marking several landmark achievements in the institution’s history, making it one of the most memorable commencements to date.
This year, Doral College proudly celebrated its largest graduating class ever, with a total of 735 graduates crossing the stage to receive their diplomas. Among the graduates were 688 Associate in Arts recipients, 17 bachelor's degree recipients, and 30 graduate students in the College's inaugural cohort of its Graduate Educational Leadership program . The conferral of degrees to the college’s first master's graduates represents a significant milestone in Doral College’s continued growth and expansion of academic opportunities for students across Florida.
The ceremony featured several memorable moments that reflected the college’s immense growth and success. President Judy Marty was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her visionary leadership, unwavering dedication, and lasting contributions to education. Her commitment to student success and expanding access to higher education has played a pivotal role in shaping Doral College's impact across the state and beyond.
Adding to the excitement of the celebration, Doral College officially unveiled its new mascot, Felix the Falcon. The debut of Felix was met with enthusiasm from graduates, bringing an added sense of school spirit and pride to the occasion. He made a memorable debut by taking photos with graduates immediately after they received their diplomas as they stepped off the stage, creating a joyful and personal moment of celebration for each student.
Throughout the ceremony, graduates were recognized not only for their academic achievements but also for their perseverance, resilience, and commitment to reaching their educational goals.
