Doral College Offering FSEOG and Federal Work-Study for 2026–2027 Academic Year
Doral College (DC) is proud to announce that it has been approved to participate in the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and Federal Work-Study (FWS) programs beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year. This expansion of federal aid opportunities reflects DC’s continued commitment to increasing access and affordability for its students.
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a federal grant awarded to undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. Because funding is limited and allocated directly to the institution, awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis to eligible students who complete the FAFSA.
The Federal Work-Study (FWS) program provides part-time employment opportunities to eligible students, allowing them to earn funds to help cover educational expenses while gaining valuable professional experience. Positions are designed to accommodate students’ academic schedules.
These new programs are offered in addition to the comprehensive federal financial aid options Doral College already provides, including the Pell Grant, Federal Direct Subsidized and Unsubsidized Stafford Loans (subject to annual and aggregate limits for dependent and independent students), and the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan program.
The addition of FSEOG and Federal Work-Study further strengthens Doral College’s commitment to providing accessible, affordable pathways to higher education.
Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA by the priority deadline of April 15, 2026 to maximize eligibility for all available forms of federal financial aid.
